It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Woodrow Victor Green announces his passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Tuesday, October 6 ^th , 2020 at the age of 76 years. Born in Isle aux Morts, NL, Woodrow was the son of the late Benjamin and Sarah Green (nee Skinner). He was also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law; Arthur and Stella Greene, brothers; Garfield (Effie) Green, Freeman (Dulcie) Green, sisters; Leah (Enoch) Prosser, Annie (Freeman) Lafosse, Rita (Alexander) Durnford, Julia (Lloyd) Strickland, Edna (John) LeFrense, brother-in-law; Edmund Warford, and sister-in-law; Sandra Newbury.

He leaves to mourn with a lifetime of fond and loving memories his loving wife of 53 years Linda Green (nee Greene), children; Charlene (Barry) Dawe of Mississauga, ON, Robbie (Anne) Green of Cole Lake, AB, Tina (Lonnie) Bryan of Ottawa, Gail (Chesley) Keeping of Halifax, NS. Woodrow also leaves behind his grandchildren; Morgan, Samantha, Lucas, Olivia, Jonah, great-grandchildren; Nia, brothers-in-law; Calvin (Doreen) Greene, Arnold (Marjorie) Greene, Bob (Phyllis) Greene, John (Genevieve), sister; Margaret Warford, and brother-in-law; David Newbury plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Woodrow was a devoted husband and father, who lived a beautiful life. He was a businessman of 35 years, who valued all of his customers. He had a love for music and playing cards. His greatest love was spending time with family. He talked to everyone he met, strangers and friends alike, never hesitating to share his admiration and love of his kids and grandkids. His family was truly his pride and joy.

In keeping with Woodrow's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 8 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9 ^th , at 2 pm at the St. Paul's Anglican Church officiated by Rev. Faye Coffin assisted by Deacon John Billard. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Woodrow's memory can be made to the Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
