It is with great sadness the family of William Phillips announce his sudden passing. Bill was originally from English Harbour West, however he spent the last 15 years residing in Port Aux Basques. Leaving to mourn Sisters, Ada (John) Harbour Breton, Martha (Mark) Grand Le Pierre, Lucy (Aubrey), Maxine (Bill) English Harbour West, Judy (Russell) Brooks, Alberta. Brothers Charlie (Lorraine) St. John's, Eric (Ruth) Brooks, Alberta, David (Jackie) Grand Le Pierre. Special niece Heather Bolt-Gosse, Brooks, Alberta, homecare worker Janet Anderson. Also leaving to mourn 24 nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father Henry Phillips Jr., sister Helen Barnes and mother Emily Philips. Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 12th  from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m and 7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques. Burial of ashes service will take place at English Harbour West at a later date.
