Le G row Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Wednes day, May 9 ^th , 2018 at the age of 97 years. Born in Francois, NL . William was the son of the late Arthu r and Edith Durnford (nee Childs). William was an avid trout and salmon fisherman, he loved music but his church was his passion.

Visitation will be held on Thur s day, May 10 ^th from 7-9 pm and on Fri day, May 11 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts, NL. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 12 ^th at 2 pm from the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts, NL officiated by Rev. Jeffrey Petten with interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted and donations can be made to the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Long Term Care Facility .
