I t is with great sadness that the family of the late William (Bud) Clementine Murphy announce his passing on Sunday March 1 9 ^th , 20 2 3 at Dr. Charles L. Le G row Health Centre at the age of 92 years.

Bud was predeceased by his wife, Lillian Murphy; children , John, Scott, George and Bernice Murphy; parents, Thomas and Elsie Murphy; siblings, Gerald, Archie, Eileen, Marie and Betty.

Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving m e mories his children, Dan (Lorraine), Jim (Mary) Murphy, Paul (Rhonda) Murphy, Steve (Karen) Murphy, Madonna Murphy all of Port aux Basques; daughter in-law, Norma; grandchildren, Jodi (Matt), Kelly (Corey), Keisha (Brandon), Kayla (Ryan), Michelle (Shannon), Samantha, Jillian (Chad), Adam, Ben (Sandra), Nicole, Cory, Leonard, Sherry, Sandy, Jason, Joshua, Sara and Robert; 16 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.

Bud enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He loved to travel often meeting new people along the way that quickly became friends. You would often see him out for his Sunday drive or hanging around the government wharf where we would often stop to chat with all his buddies. He proudly served our country during the Korean War.

Visitation w ill be held on Tuesday March 2 1 ^st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques. Cremation will follow with internment at a later date. In l ieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bud can be made to a charity of ones choice.
