It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet (Gertie) McIsaac (nee Warren) announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center on Saturday January 23, 2016 at the age of 61 years,. She was predeceased by her parents the late Walter and Olive Warren, brothers; George, Philip and Walter, sisters; Susie, Vera and Mildred, brother in law Albert Osmond, sister in law Gladys Warren. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband James McIsaac of 40 years, sons; Michael (Vanessa) of Tompkins, Mark (Angie) of Colborne ON, and Shawn (Eneyda) of Halifax NS. Grandchildren; Novalea, Jessie and Sloan, as well as brother Jim Warren of Cape Ray and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation for Gertie taking place at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Upper Ferry on Monday January 25, 2:00 – 4:00 pm followed by a Wake Service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, January 26 at 10:30 am with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at Mount St. Thomas Roman Catholic Cemetery, Great Codroy.
