It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Viola Regis Pike (nee Hinks ) announces h er passing at the Dr. Charles L. Le G row Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Fri day, September 7, 2018 at the age of 88 years. Born in Channel-Port aux Basques , NL . Viola was the daughter of the late William and Susan Hinks (nee Gilcrest) . Sh e was also predeceased by her husband Gerald Pike in 1983 ; father and mother-in-law James W and Alice Pike (nee Sheaves ); brother Gerald W Hinks; brothers-in-law Eric Pike, Robert (Bob) (Carrie) Pike, and Gordon Billard.

In keeping with Viola's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Mon day , September 10 ^th , 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. in Port aux Basques, NL. A memorial service will be held at St. James Anglican Church on Tues day, September 11 ^th , 2018 at 11 a m officiated by The Rev. Eddie Coleman with interment of ashes to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, B arachois Hill, TCH, NL.
