At the age of 79, Sylvia Rose Hatch died peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2024 surrounded by those who loved her.

Predeceased by her husband Gordon, her parents Julie and Fred Walters, brother-in-law Walter Kettle.

She leaves to mourn her children David (Krista) and Kelly (Terry) her sister Nancy Kettle, her grandson Tyler, nieces and nephew Karen (David), Randy (Caroline), and Kim Chris), her aunt Vivian Chaulk, great nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends.

Sylvia loved to travel, read, and have a good suppertime debate. Ice cream and wine brought her joy.

In keeping with Sylvia's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, October 19 from 2 to 4 pm at East Haven Funeral Home.

Interment will follow immediately after at St. James Anglican Cemetery.
