It is with the upmost sadness that we, the family of our beloved mother, grand mother and great-grandmother, Shirley Rita LeRiche, announce her peaceful passing at, Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

Born in Rose Blanche, Shirley was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Ashford (Nee Parsons). She was also predeceased by her husband, Donald LeRiche; her Mother and Father in law John and Myrtle LeRiche (Nee Anderson); Daughter Amanda; Son in law Chuck Downey; Sister Elise Brake; Brother, Raymond Ashford and ; Sister in law Isabel LeRiche.

Leaving to mourn, with lots of loving memories, are her children; Donna Downey, Dion(Connie) LeRiche, John(Sylvia) LeRiche; Grandchildren, Santana, Charlene, Chantelle, Helen and Devon. great-grandchildren; Keegan, Teanna, Alexander, Caleb, Rylee and Peyton. Her Sisters; Judy-Ann(Timmy) Stevens, Ruby(Brian) Hann, Ross(Monica) Ashford, John Ashford, Dave Ashford, Viola Skinner. Brother in law; Jim LeRiche, Sister in law Rose Pike, as well as large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.

Shirley dearly loved a good game of Bingo as well as her beloved furbaby Lola but most importantly, family meant everything to her!

Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 3rd from 2-4 p.m. and visitation with family prayer 7-9 p.m., at East Haven Funeral Home.

In keeping with Shirley's wishes, cremation will follow. Internment will take place on Wednesday, March 6th at 2 p.m. Gathering at East Haven Funeral home to proceed together to Barachois Hill Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Fay Coffin. Flowers are graciously accepted. Donations in Shirley's memory can be made to the family.
