It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Shelia Valenchia Chaulk (nee Parsons) announces her sudden passing at her residence in Port aux Basques, NL on Saturday, February 9 ^th , 2019 at the age of 67 years. Born in Rose Blanche, NL, Shelia was the daughter of the late James and Jessie Parsons (nee Hardy).

She was also predeceased by her husband Henry Chaulk, father and mother-in-law Stanley and Francis Chaulk (nee Pearce); son Perry Chaulk; brothers Leo Parsons, Lewis (Kathleen) Parsons, Wilson (Nellie) Chaulk; sister Ada (Harvey) Spencer, Marjorie Collier, Geraldine Enwood, Mary (Henry) Ashford; brothers-in-law Charlie Chaulk, James (Mary) Chaulk, Leslie Chaulk, Fred (Priscella) Chaulk; sisters-in-law Anne (Harry) Underhill, Eileen (Clyde) Warren and Phllis (Henry) Francis.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving sons Stanley Chaulk of Salmon River, NS, Glen Chaulk (Julie Whiteway) of Glen William, PEI; daughter Amanda Chaulk (Michael Battiste) of Port aux Basques, NL; grandchildren Blaine, Charles, Alexis, Kayla, Kaitlin and great-grandchildren Carter and Toni; brothers Carl (Laurie) Parsons of Stephenville, NL, Cecil (Dorothy) Parsons of Rose Blanche, NL, Roderick (Elsie) Parsons, Mildred (Benjamin) Osmond, Ivan (Mildred) Spencer all of Port aux Basques, NL; brothers-in-law Harvey Enwood of Burnt Islands, NL, Gerald Collier; sisters-in-law Gloria Parsons, Irene Chaulk and Vivian Chaulk all of Port aux Basques, NL, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12 ^th from 7-9 pm and on Wednesday, February 13 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. in Port aux Basques, NL. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, February 14 ^th at 2 pm from East Haven Funeral Home Inc. in Port aux Basques, NL officiated by Deacon Kay Osmond and Deacon Jane Allen. A graveside service and interment will be held on Tuesday, October 19 ^th , at 1:30 p.m. from St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, officiated by Rev. Jane Allen. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
