Kettle
Sep 24, 1945 — Aug 31, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Kettle of Grand Bay, NL, at the age of 80. Sandra was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and neighbor. Born in Grand Bay, NL, she was the cherished daughter of the late Ernest and Annie Kettle. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Albert Chesley Kettle; as well as her other beloved sisters, brothers, step-sisters and brothers, and nephews.
She will be deeply and forever missed by her family, including her devoted son Guy (Michelle) Kettle, daughter Sandi (Ralph) Burt, grandson Brandon, and her two precious great-grandchildren, Harper and Madison. She also leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and many close friends and neighbors.
Sandra was a kind, gentle, and private woman who showed goodness to everyone she encountered. She truly enjoyed life's simplest pleasures, especially losing herself in a good book or going for long walks with her friends. Her quiet nature, unwavering kindness, and the beautiful memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. You have gained your wings, Sandra; we will miss you forever.
In keeping with Sandra's wishes, cremation will take place and a service will be held at St. Paul's Church on Friday, September 4th, at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. Paul's Cemetery, Barchois Hill, NL. At her explicit request, there will be no public viewing, and the family requests no flowers.
For those wishing to honor her memory, donations may be made to the St. Paul’s Church or the St. Paul’s Cemetery Fund. Additionally, in keeping with Sandra's beautiful spirit, please offer a small act of kindness to someone in need.
The Kettle family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to family, friends, and the community for the overwhelming kindness, love, and support shown during Sandra's time of illness. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and medical staff for their compassionate care and dedication. A special thank you is extended to Angelia Chaulk, Rev.
