Obituary

On Saturday May 11, 2019 our hearts were broken and our lives forever changed when our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and awesome friend, Ryan Calvin Warren passed away suddenly at his residence in St. John's, Newfoundland at the age of 31. Born in Ajax Ontario, Ryan was the son of Pam and Kevin Osmond, Harrison and Tina Thomas, and his grandparents who so proudly raised him Calvin and Annabell Warren. Loving brother of baby sister Lacey Warren (Jordan) Corner Brook, sister Chantal Thomas (Michael) St. Catherine's ON, brother Tim Osmond (Kylie) Alberta, sister Jennifer Osmond, New Brunswick, uncle of nieces Kyanna, Peyton, Iris and nephew Brody.

Ryan will also be sadly missed and forever loved by his aunts; (sister) Michelle Warren (Carl) St.John's NL, (sister) Lorna Culleton (Peter) Brampton ON, cousins; Scottie, Travis, Jalisa, Kallie.Grandparents Edwin and Margaret Thomas Cape Ray, aunts; Edwina Thomas (Jason) Halifax, Denise Seaward (Alfred) Halifax, Lillian Lawrence (Wally) Port aux Basques, Laverne Anderson (Tommy) Cape Ray, Evelyn Clarke (Derek) Port aux Basques, Gina Thomas (Chris) Alberta, uncles; Dan Thomas (Sylvia) Alberta, Leroy Thomas (Trixie) Anchor Point NL, Lionel Thomas Moncton NB, Tommy Patey, his brother from another mother and forever brother and a large circle of cousins, extended family and many friends. Ryan had a zest for life he was a huge Marvel Collector and fanatic. As of late Ryan had found a new passion and was becoming an extraordinary photographer and his photos were something of an artistic phenomenon. He was a very large presence in our lives literally, he was 6'4 and 400 lbs with a size 16 shoe but with a heart as big as the world, he was our gentle giant giant and his family and friends meant everything to him.

In keeping with Ryan's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday May 18, 2 pm at 30 Main Street in Cape Ray (Pam and Kevin's House) and we want everyone to feel free to drop by and share with us a wonderful memory or a funny story of Ryan. We will be holding a celebration of life in August of 2020 and in true Ryan fashion it will be a Marvel themed event. Donations in memory of Ryan can be made to his family. Funeral arrangements were in the care of East Haven Funeral Home Inc, 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques, 695-2300. www.easthavenfuneralhome.com
