It is with heart felt sadness that the family of the late Russell Harvey announces his sudden passing on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Cent re at the age of 80 years . Born in Isle aux Morts, NL, Russell was the son of the late John and Harriett Harve y (nee Wells). He was predeceased by his wife Edith (Scott) Harvey of 57 years, daughters Rosanna, Jacqueline, Selena, and Lorna. He was also predecease d by his sisters Ida (Clayton) Lillington, Selina Keeping, Beatrice (John) Hann, Eliza Jane (Philip) Herritt; father and mother-in-law Winter Scott and Rose (Harvey) Scott; S isters and brothers in-law Thomas Scott, Belinda (Clem) Organ, Susan (Benjamin) Wells, Lindsay Scott.

He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving children Terrence (Veronica) Harvey of Port aux Basques, NL, Russell (Geraldine) Harvey of Botwood, NL, Alison Harvey of Halifax, NS, Jeffrey (Candi) Harvey of Halifax, NS; h is precious grandchildren Ashley Harvey of Halifax, NS, Terri Lynn (Joe Doherty) Harvey of Woodstock, On tario , Devon Harvey of Port aux Basques, NL, Russell Harvey, Ian Harvey both of Botwood, NL; g reat-grandsons Vincent and Alexander Doherty; son in-law Robert Kelly; brothers and sisters in-law Willoughby Keeping of Dartmouth, NS, Gertie Scott of Dartmouth, NS, William (Golda) Scott, Dorothy Anderson, Eric (Daphne) Scott all of Isle aux Morts, NL, Annabelle (Calvin) W arren of Cape Ray, NL, Gar y (Wilma) Scott of Burnt Islands, NL, Alfred (Lori) Scott of St. Catherines, Ontario. He also leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. In keeping with Russell's wishes, c remation has taken place. Visitation taking place on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 7-9 pm from the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts, NL from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2019 officiated by Rev. Nathan Cutler at 2 pm, inurnment followed at Holy Spirit Anglican Cemetery, Isle aux Morts, NL.
