It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Roy Voutier announce his peaceful passing, with his loving wife Linda by his side, at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL. Born in Petites, NL. Roy was the son of the late Phillip and Beatrice Voutier (née Hann). He was also predeceased by his Brothers; Thomas (Charlotte), Wilf (Lydia), Cyril (Evelyn), Don (Violet), Clyde (Dulcie). His Sisters; Dorothy (Phillip), Olive (Thomas), Clara; Father and mother in-law Anson Lewis and Ellamae Elliott and Brother in Law Eugene.

Roy leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, Linda; his children, Tom, Stanley (Samantha) and Eddie; His Grandchildren Justin and Anthony as well as his Brother in law Rex and Sisters in Law, Marilyn (Bill) and Karen. Roy will also be missed by a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Roy spent a large portion of his life as lobster fisherman in Nova Scotia and loved every moment he spent on the water. He was a quiet man with a friendly demeanour and a cheeky character, with a silly face and a laugh at the ready.

Forever grateful to; Alice Greene, Kirby Seaward and Myrtle and Harold Strickland for the unwavering support and care shown to Roy whether it was items that he needed to be at home, or just being there. The family would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre for the care and compassion that was shown to Roy. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roys memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
