It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Ronald Isaac Lomond announce his passing at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre, in Channel Port aux Basques, NL on Friday, September 1st,2023 at the age of 72.

Ronald was predeceased by his parents; Isaac and Melinda, sister; Marilyn, brother; Victor, brother in-law; Jerry, grandparents; Isaac and Esther Lomond, Llewlyn and Matilda Lomond.

Ronald leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories, his wife of 49 years, Elizabeth Lomond, children; Tammy (Al) Sponagle and Rhonda Lomond, sisters; Dorothy (Bob) Wells, Margaret Gaulton (Stuart Kettle), Lavina Russell, Joyce (Kevin) Kettle, Rhoda (Derrick) Lomond, brothers; Jordan (Kay) Lomond, Johnny (Daphne) Lomond, Duane (Elizabeth) Lomond and Cecil Lomond (Carolyn Finn), brother in-law; Claude Francis, sister in-law; Shirley Lomond, grandchildren; Stephanie (David) Downey, Nathan Young, Zackery Milke and Jeremy Sponagle, great grandchildren; Wyatt Downey, Owen Downey, Hazel Downey and Lochlainn Sponagle, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In keeping with Ronald's wishes, cremation has taken place. Internment to follow at a later date.
