It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Roland Currie announce his peaceful passing at his residence in Port aux Basques, NL on Saturday July 15th,2023 at the age of 57 years.
Roland was the son of the late Marven and Ruby Currie. With precious memories he leaves to mourn; his wife of 20 years, Laura Currie; daughter, Hayley (William Breon); brother, Dwayne (Monique Petite) of New Brunswick; parents in-law, William and Mildred Cheeseman; brother and sisters in-law; Wanda Cheeseman, Amanda (Vince) Stacey and William JR. Cheeseman (Jennifer Clarke); nieces and nephews, Marissa, Alex, Vincent, Scarlett, Mallory, Megan and Marcus; great nephew, Grayson; plus a large circle of family and friends.
A special thank you to Dr. Hollett, Dr. Lafferty and nurses in Corner Brook, and Dr. Nikahd, nurses and staff at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre, Mackenzie Ambulance, the staff of Western Community Health, and staff at East Haven Funeral Home.
In keeping with Roland's wishes, cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will take place at a later date.
