It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of the late Robert Clarke surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 90 years. Born in Harbour Le Cou, Robert was the son of the late Charles and Marigold (nee Tufts) Clarke. He was also predeceased by his sisters; Esley Jarvis (Maxwell), Elizabeth Thomas, mother and father in law; Rosella and Cyril Noseworthy brothers in law; Roy Noseworthy (Gertrude), Eric Noseworthy (Alma), sisters in law; Elizabeth (Bessie) Reid, Jean Noseworthy and his parents Susanna and Thomas Clarke, who raised him from a very young age.

Leaving to mourn with many fond and precious memories his loving and devoted wife Marilyn (nee Noseworthy) of 31 years, nephews; Eddie Branton (Lucy) of Rose Blanche, Albert Thomas (Beth) of St. George's, Utah USA, nieces; Grace Bond, Goldie Cooper (Victor), brother in law Clyde Reid and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. The family received relatives and friends on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at St. Michael's And All Angel's Anglican Church, Rose Blanche from where the funeral service took place on Thursday February 6, 2 pm officiated by The Rev. Jeffrey Petten, interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in memory of Robert can be made to St. Michael's And All Angel's Anglican Church.
