It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we the family of the late Rebecca Diane Pearce announce her peaceful passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Saturday, January 8 ^th , 2022 at the age of 60 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Rebecca was the daughter of the late James and Leah Pearce (nee Ingram). She was also predeceased by her baby sister, two baby brothers, brother; Robert, common-law partner; Jack Osmond, nephew; Daniel and brother-in-law; James Bragg.

She leaves behind with many fond and precious memories her loving son Elliott Pearce (Melissa Jenkins) of St. John's, NL, sisters; Sarah (Tom) Peterson of Selkirk, Manitoba, Marie Bragg, Nancy (Ray) Matthews, Eileen Welshman (Perry Sheaves) all of Port aux Basques, NL, brothers; Hubert Pearce (Pauline Samms), Stuart Pearce, Calvin Pearce, David Pearce all of Port aux Basques, NL, Brian Pearce of Northwest Territories, and Vincent (Marilyn) Pearce of London, ON, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Rebecca was a caring and loving soul. She adored her son Elliott who was her pride and joy. She always spoke highly of her nieces and nephews whom she loved them dearly. She loved her family gathering over the years. She always had a hug and kiss for you. She will sadly missed by her son and fiancée Melissa of St. John's, NL, her brothers, sisters and her nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

Until we meet again, you fly with the angels, you soar high.
Rest easy, you will be tucked inside out hearts forever, we love you.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday , January 1 1 ^th , 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. a t East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques. Due to the latest Government regulations your Newfoundland VaxPass, photo ID, masks and social distancing are required for entry to the visitation. In keeping with Rebecca's wishes, cremation will follow. There will be a memorial service and interment at the St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill on Saturday September 10th at 11 am . In lieu of flowers, donations in Rebecca's memory can be made to the family.
