P earl was a family woman above all else. She married the love of her life when she was just 16 years old and they lived a happy 65 years together in the small w hite h ouse at the bottom o f the hill. You'd always find her knitting with the Game Show Network or G eneral H ospital on the TV. And if you came for a visit, you were sure to leave with a candy and a dishcloth. When she wasn't knitting she was probably baking bread o r doing something that one o f the kids requested. In her younger years, she loved to go to dances and play cards with R ussell and their friends. Her most favorite thing to do was to have our house full of family, telling them stories and listening to old N ewfoundland music.
