It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Paul Wendell LeFrense, announce his peaceful passing on Saturday June 21st, 2025 in Doyles, NL at the age of 62 years. Born in Isle aux Morts, NL Paul was the son of the late John and Edna LeFrense (nee Greene) He was also predeceased by his father in-law Gideon Courtney.

Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories, his loving partner of almost 23 years, Cathy; his sons; Milton (April) and Curtis; grandchildren Cassandra, Serenity, and Maddison.

He will also be dearly missed by his siblings Cathy (George Thomas), Tracey (Glen), Steve (Tina), and Debbie (Jeff); his mother in-law Dora; his sisters and brothers in-law, Jocelyn (Jeffrey), Delphine (Eric), Gregory (Janet), Patsy (Todd), and Darren (Falon); nieces and nephews, Vonda, David, Janelle, Samantha, Matthew, Kristen, Emma, Magen, Brandon, Kayla, Nisa, Steven, Brittany, Nicholas, Charlie, Juliana, Jay, and Jasmine, plus a very large circle of cousins, great nieces, and nephews and many friends.

Special thanks to his caregivers Kayla, Laura, and Imelda for the care and compassion you have given Paul over the last little while.

Paul dedicated 41 years of his life to Gen-tech, and he truly cherished every moment. He found joy in the little things in life. Spending time with friends brought him happiness, and he loved to treat them to delicious meals, showcasing his passion for cooking. However, his greatest treasure was his black convertible Ford Mustang. Every weekend, he and Cathy would take it for a spin, but he wouldn't let her get dirty, nor would he drive her in the rain. But, rest assured, whenever you spotted him, he was always in his cowboy boots and bright smile.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Sunday, June 22nd from 7 -9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. and Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts, NL. With the funeral taking place on Tuesday June 24th 2025 at 2 PM, officiated by Rev. Annie Rose. Cremation will follow and internment will take place at a later date.
