It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Owen Kettle announces his passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Sunday, January 27 ^th , 2019 at the age of 60 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Owen was the son of the late James and Lucy Kettle (nee Skeard). He was also predeceased by his brothers Max Kettle and Sam Kettle

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers and sisters Arthur (Cora) Kettle, Alice (Norman) Ingram, Rose Allen all of Port aux Basques, NL, Ivan (Marilyn) Kettle of East Passage, NS, Sarah (Wayne) Madill of Ottawa, Ont; sixteen (16) nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law Lydia Kettle, Line Kettle; special friends Jason Bourne of Toronto, Ont, Derek Strickland of Port aux Basques, NL, plus a large extended family and friends in Toronto and Newfoundland.

In keeping with Owen's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service and interment of ashes will take on Saturday, July 27 ^th , 2019 at 2 pm from St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, NL.
