It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Norman John LeFrense of Isle aux Morts announce his passing surrounded by family at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre, in Channel Port aux Basques, NL on Friday, August 25th, 2023 at the age of 56.

Norman was predeceased by his spouse; Louise Rhonda LeFrense, mother; Marilyn Ida LeFrense, grandmothers; Ena LeFrense, Margaret LeFrense and Marcella Huelin, grandfathers; Norman (Sr) LeFrense, John Huelin, mother in-law; Carrie Snook.

Norman leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories, father; Alexander LeFrense, brother; Maxwell (Verna) LerFrense, sister; Margaret Ann (Danny) Ryan. Father in-law; Lawrence (Sr) Snook, brother in-law; Anthony (Lori) Walters, Lawrence (Margaret) Snook, sister in-law; Elizabeth (Martin) Bishop. Nieces and nephews; Jenna LeFrense (Mark), Daniel Ryan (Candace), Summer Ryan, Megan Walters, Avery Snook, Adrian Walters, Leah Walters, Andrew Snook, Abby Snook; as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Norman was a great cook, he knew his way around the kitchen and always enjoyed serving a meal. Norman also loved fishing, he spent many days on the water with his brother and family. He always looked forward to cod fishing with the family in the summer.

In keeping with Norman's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held at Holy Spirit Anglican Church on Thursday, August 31st, 2023 at 2 pm, officiated by Rev. Knott. Internment for Norman, and his late wife, Louise Rhonda LeFrense will follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery.
