It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Norman King announces h is passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre , Port aux Basques, NL on Wednesday , September 28 ^th , 20 22 at the age of 76 years. Born in Burnt Islands , Norman was the son of t he late Raleigh King and Olive King-Walters (nee Munden ) . He was also predeceased by his brother; Llewellyn King, step-father ; Robert Walters and brother in-law; William Kinslow .

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers and sisters; Wayne (Sybil Vautier), Dana (Eileen Harvey), Ross (Carol MacDonald), Glen (Roslyn Harvey), Marjorie King, Faye (Roland Thorne) and Sarah (John Osmond). He also leaves behind his uncle; Lewellyn Munden of Port aux Basques, NL, aunt; Viola Reid of Nova Scotia, s pecial friends; The Caines Brothers of Burnt Islands, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.

Norman was a fisherman for many years and an avid country man who loved to hunt and fish.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Heath Centre for their care and compassion.

In keeping with Normans wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday , October 3 ^rd , 2022 from 12 pm to 9 pm at St. Georges Anglican Church, Burnt Islands, NL . The funeral service will be held on Tuesday , October 4 ^th at 11 am from St. Georges Anglican Church officiated by Rev. Diana Frye with interment to follow at a later date.
