It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Myrtle Marie Warren (nee Carter ), announce her peaceful passing with her loving family by her side at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques on Monday , October 3 ^rd , 2022 at the age of 7 7 years.

Born in Cape Ray , NL , Myrtle was the daughter of the late Issac and Maria Carter . She was also predeceased by her husband ; Thomas Warren , infant son; Thomas Junior, son in-law; Paul Knott, brother; William Carter, sister; Elizabeth Gosse, father and mother in-law; John and Martha Warren, sisters in-law; Virgina Short and Jane Carter and brother in-law; Alex Hodder.

Sh e leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories h er children ; Margaret Knott, Anita (Rick) LeRiche, Anrena Burke, Gilbert (Heather) Warren, Carmelita (Jeff) Warren, and Rebecca Warren, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brothers and sisters ; Fred Carter (Catherine) Maisie (Dave) Lomond, Shirley (Clayton) Hodder, Calvin (Deborah) Carter, in-laws; Carson (Maisie) Warren, Cedella Hodder, Gertie (Calvin) Rose, Steward (Jane) Short, Gordon Goss, her honorary daughter; Patricia Walker, her home care worker; Veronica Harvey, p lus all the wonderful home care workers she had in the past, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Myrtle was an avid member of her Church for many many years. She took much pride in teaching the children communion classes. The family would like to take the time to say thank you to Dr. Blecher, as well as the all the other doctors, nurses and staff at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre.

In keeping with Myrtle's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6 ^{t h} from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., (down town location) , Port aux Basques. The graveside s ervice will be held on Friday October 7 ^th at 2 p.m. at St. Augustine's Cemetery, Margaree , Newfoundland officiated by Rev. Jane Allen .
