It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mylida Kettle announces her passing on Wednesday August 31 at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center at the age of 73 years. Born in Port aux Basques, Mylida was the daughter of the late Norman and Mae Feltham. She was also predeceased by her husband Jim in 2014, brothers Jack Feltham, Calvin Feltham, sisters; Elizabeth Norton (Robert) Lucy Feltham, sister in law Laura Feltham, brothers in law Tom Kettle, Ralph Kettle, Albert Kettle, Brian Kettle. She leaves to mourn with many loving memories her children; Jimmy (Jackie) Kettle Port aux Basques, Troy (Amanda) Kettle Fox Roost, Cindy Kettle (Max) Port aux Basques. A proud grandmother, Mylida will forever remain in the hearts of her grandchildren; Kyle, Brittany, Morgan, Lucas, Sequoyah. She will also be sadly missed by her sisters and brothers; Betty Osmond, Dolly (Nathan) Seymour, Grace (Jim) Hinks, Danny Feltham (Diane) all of Port aux Basques, Wilfred Feltham Manitoba. Brothers and sisters in law; Mary Feltham, Ruby Feltham (John), Diane Kettle (William), Margaret (Orrin) Halifax, Ethel (Paul) Blinkhorn, Debbie Kettle (Brian), Nancy (Harold), Bronsen (Harriet) Kettle, Max Kettle, Calvin Kettle, Sheila (Larry) Boyles and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation taking place on Friday from 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services taking place on Sunday September 4, 2 pm at St. James Anglican Church, Channel officiated by Rev. Marlene Harvey, interment will follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
