Obituary

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Michael LeRiche, who passed away on October 29th, 2026, at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Center, at the age of 61.

Mike was a loving and devoted husband, son, father, brother and grandfather. He was a family man who cherished those closest to him. He found great happiness in the outdoors, especially spending time fishing and hunting with his Sons and Grandson.

Though his passing was sudden and far too soon, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Mike was predeceased by his Parents in law Joshua and Vida Skinner, brothers in law Bert and Jussie Skinner.

Leaving to mourn, with a lifetime of cherished memories, is his parents Kathleen and Wilfred LeRiche, his devoted Wife, Darlene of 44 years, his two amazing sons, Carson (Ashlee) and Denzel, his Grandchildren Rogen & Rylee who brought him so much joy, his Brother James (Erica), his Nephew Nicholas (Faith) and Niece Jaimie (Tait) and sisters in law Ida (Don), Winnifred (Jimmy), Sheila (Frank), Kathleen (Junior), Masie, Eileen and Katie, along with many extended family members and friends.

Mike will also be dearly missed by his good friends, Vaughn, Brad, and Shannon, along with many friends he made throughout his life. Each friendship held its own special memories, and he will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Mike was also a valued member of his community, particularly throughout his involvement with Minor Hockey. He was part of something that brought people together. His friendships, community connections and contributions will never be forgotten.

Mike’s life may have ended far too soon, but the love he gave, the friendships he built, the memories he created, and the special place he holds in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community will never fade.

The family would like to sincerely thank Calvin Payne, Perry Lomond, paramedics and the hospital staff for the comfort and care you gave him.

As per Mikes wishes, Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at East Haven Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026, at 2:00 PM at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Grand Bay.

Forever loved, deeply missed and never forgotten.
