It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Melvin Frank Pink announces h is peaceful passing with his loving wife by his side at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centr e on Monday, May 18 ^th , 2020 at the age of 69 years. Born in Rose Blanche, Melvin was the son of the late Rand a ll and Evelyn Pink (nee Rose). He was also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Walter and Edna Chislett (Dolomount); brother Austin Pink and brother-in-law Clarence Brown.

Melvin leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving wife of 45 years Valerie Pink (nee Chislett). He also leaves to mourn his brother Clarence (Donna) Pink; sisters Rita (Gordon) Ben n ett, Kathleen Brown; sister-in-law Walterine (Dennis) Horwood plus a large circle of nieces , nephews, extended family and many friends.

M elvin was a loving man who loved the outdoors hunting and fishing with his friends. Melvin loved his church and everyone around him especially; Dr. Ryan, Carla, and all the wonderful staff at the LeGrow Health Centre for the wonderful care they provided for him over the past five years. Melvin had a passion for music and loved when his friends would come over to his house and play songs for him.

Due to the current public health advisory of COVID-19, there will be a private family viewing at East Haven Funeral Home (Downtown Location) which will be followed by a private service at East Haven Funeral Home (Downtown Location) on Thursday , May 21 ^st , 2 pm with interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road officiated by The Rev. Canon Jeffrey Petten. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre Foundation, St. Michael And All Angels Anglican Church or to the charity of one's choice.
