Melinda
Osmond
Jul 23, 1944 — Dec 12, 2025
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melinda Osmond, announces the passing of their beloved mother and grandmother, whose life was filled with love for her family and gratitude for those who cared for her. Born in Cape Ray, NL, Melinda was the daughter of the late Bernard Osmond and Winifred Wall. She was also predeceased by her husband Isaac Osmond; sisters Winifred (Ronald) Osmond, , Elizabeth (Max) Pearce, Rita (Alex) James, Marie (Gord) McNeil, Mabel Wall, and Anne (Cecil) Short; sister‑in‑law Lillian (Stan) Osmond; her brothers, Wallace (Hilda) Wall, Ivan Wall, and John Wall.
She leaves to mourn her daughter, Wanda (Craig) King, and her grandchildren Crystal Osmond and Cecilia (Adam), who will always cherish her memory. Her legacy also continues through her great‑grandchildren Tonilee, Jarrett, Isaac, Jody, and Evangeline, and her great‑great‑grandson Kane. She was deeply grateful for two special women she thought of as her own daughters, Judy (Paul) Martin and Eileen (Robert) King, and she was blessed to have two wonderful workers, Mary Ellen Seaward and Yvonne McDougall who treated her like their own mother. She will be dearly missed by her brother Robert Wall, her sister‑in‑law Dorothy Wall, and a very special man, Lorne Seaward, who thought so much of her and brought her much joy.
Melinda will be remembered as an outgoing, life‑loving woman who was always the life of the party and brought fun and energy wherever she went. She adored her children and grandchildren, and nothing made her happier than time spent with family, whether cheering them on or simply sharing a laugh. Melinda loved socializing, especially over card games and darts, and in her younger years she was actively involved in her church and community, sharing her warmth and spirit with everyone around her.
