It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shawn Philip Hatcher announce his passing on October 4, 2015 at Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 44 years. He was predeceased by his grandparents Norman (Hattie) Hatcher and Charles (Jane) Courtney; his aunts and uncles Eric Hatcher, James (Meta) Courtney, Cecil Hatcher, Emma Jane Francis, Clarence Hatcher and Philip Courtney; cousins Shane Hatcher and Robert Hatcher. He leaves to mourn his wife Amanda and step daughter Charlene at Cold Lake, Alberta; his parents Catherine and Gerald Hatcher; sister Shawnda (Walt) and his two nephews Jarrett and Tanner of Chalk River, Ontario; aunts and uncles Loretta Hatcher, Fred (Audrey) Hatcher, Cecil Hatcher, Kevin (Joyce) Hatcher, Norma (Sonny) Savoury, Ruby (Robert) Humphries, Minnie Hatcher, Charlotte Courtney, Garfield Francis; plus a large circle of cousins, his special cousin Clarissa Mcquarrie of Grimsby, Ontario and friends. Funeral service took place on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at St. Mark's Protestant Chapel, 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta with Padre Chris Willis officiating. In keeping with Shawn's wishes cremation has taken place in Edmonton, Alberta with interment of ashes to follow at a later date.
