It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Maryann Collier (Nee Gallant) announces her sudden passing at her residence in South Branch on Tuesday, June 9 ^th , 2020 at the age of 72 years. Born in South Branch, NL, Maryann was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Dorothy (Brake) Gallant. She was also predeceased by her father and mother-in-law Fred and Monica Collier; sisters Tina Gallant, Clara Gale; brother Lawrence Gallant and brother-in-law Frank O'Quinn.

Maryann leaves to mourn with fond memories her loving husband of 26 years James Collier; children Amanda (Jack) Hann, Kim Clarke (Ches), Nadine (Robbie) Cox all of Port aux Basques, NL, Melissa (John) Kennedy of St. John's, NL; grandchildren Danielle (Richard) Clarke, Jessica Keeping, Julia Keeping, Kendra Cox, Katie Cox, Cameron Hann and great-grandson Harlie Osmond.

Maryann also leaves behind her b rothers and s isters Michael (Donna) Gallant, Abraham (Helen) Gallant, Rosie (Alec) O'Quinn, Ali (Joan) Gallant, Loyola (Joan) Gallant, Sylvia (Andy) Bishop, Jeanette O'Quinn, Cecilia O'Quinn, Denise Gallant, Cathy Gallant; b rother s - i n- l aw Gordon Gale, David Collier, Joey (Bertha) Collier and s ister s - i n- l aw Selena Gallant; Elizabeth (Bob) Barry, Joanne (Mark) Freeman, Susan (Charlene) Collier and Rose Mary (Roy) King, plus many nieces, nephews and friends.

I n keeping with Maryann's wishes cremation has taken place. Due to current public health advisory of C OVID -19 there will be a private family viewing followed by a private m emorial service on Saturday, June 13 ^th , 2020, 2 pm at St. Sylvester's Roman Catholic Church in South Branch, N L officiated by Father Lee Lainey. Interment will follow at St. Sylvester's Roman Catholic Cemetery in South Branch, NL . Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in memory of Maryann can be made to the family.
