It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Pike announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L. Legrow Health Centre on November 3, 2015 at the age of 84 years. She was the daughter of the late James and Julia Carter. She was also predeceased by her husband Ted, brothers Issac Carter, Robert Carter and Eric Carter, sisters Pearl Hynes and Maud Kendall. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her daughters Karen (Alex) Osmond, Ruth (Eddy) Billard, Donna (Don) Lomond, sisters Margret Fraser of Port aux Basques, Dolly Levalliant of Halifax, NS, brother Max Carter of Port aux Basques, brothers and sisters-in-law Mac (Allie) Pike, Brian (Lillian) Pike of Port aux Basques, Nora (Gene) Balthazer of New Hampshire, grandchildren Mark (Sherry) Osmond, Todd (Raegan) Osmond, Bruce (Hayley) Billard, Susan (Corey) Billard, Kim (Brock) Seaward, great grandchildren Aidan, Rebecca, Drew, Jay, Blake, Rachel, Ryan, Meryl. Visitation took place on Thursday, November 5 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at East Haven Funeral Home, Port aux Basques. Funeral services took place on Friday November 6 at 2pm from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Grand Bay officiated by Rev. Stephen Maki. Interment took place at St. James Cemetery, TCH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. James Cemetery Fund in her memory.
