It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we the family of the late Mary Roxanne Parsons announce her sudden passing at her residence in Port aux Basques, NL on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at the age of 52 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Mary was predeceased by her father; Leo Parsons, grandparents; James and Jessie Parsons, and Nelson and Bessie Anderson, foster father; Harold Sheppard, sister; Rita Parsons and her nephew; Derrick Parsons.

Mary leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories her mother Gloria Parsons, sisters; Florence Gale (Leroy), Jackie Parsons (Craig Skeard) all of Port aux Basques, NL, Shirley Parsons of Ontario, Diane Parsons of Lark Harbour, NL, foster mother; Louise Sheppard, foster brothers; Robert, Shawn, foster sisters; Mary Lou, Allison and Bonnie plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In keeping with Mary's wishes, cremation will take place. There will be a graveside service and interment on Sunday, May 16th, 2021 at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road officiated by Rev. Jane Allen. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's memory can be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Canadian Cancer Society, 70 Ropewalk Lane St. John's, NL A1B 3R9.
