It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Mary Edith Chaisson (nee Green) announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Friday, June 29
th
, 2018 at the age of 94 years. Born in Millertown Junction, NL, Mary was the daughter of the late Isaac and Ethel Green (nee George). She was also predeceased by her husband Cornelius (Con) Chaisson; sons Peter, Paul, James, David; daughter Mary; sons-in-law Wayne Wheeler, Roger Ryan, Mickey Ryan; great-grandson Logan Ryan; granddaughter Debbie Ryan; brothers Ralph (Margaret) Green, Douglas (Alice) Green; sister Rose (Charles) Mills; nephew Ralph Green Jr; and great-nephew Garland Ryan.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving children Cornelius (Con) Chaisson, Terrance (Terry) Chaisson, Morris Chaisson, Brian Chaisson all of Tompkins, NL, Cecilia Ryan, Susan Teresa Ryan both of O'Regan's, NL, Karen (Dan) Rixon of Port aux Basques, NL, Wanda Wheeler of Port au Port East, NL, Joseph (Judy) Chaisson of Dartmouth, NS, Valerie (Leslie) Gerein of Fort McMurray, AB, Julia (Kevin) Lannigan of St. John's, NL; sisters Winnie (Len) Howell of Badger, NL, May (Gordon) Holley, Ruth (Neville) Turner both of Corner Brook, NL; daughter-in-law Lorraine Chaisson of Tompkins, NL; grandchildren Wanda, Timothy, Michelle, Tom, Kate, Terrance, Tracy, Roger, Carlene, Terri-Lynn, Christopher, Danielle, Sean, Stephen, Mary, Katelyn, Jenna, Larissa, Terrell, Conor, Peter, Robert; great-grandchildren Kyle, Liam, Lauren, Ryan, Emma, Paige, Harley, Eva, Heaven-Lee, Maggie, Xavier, Grace, Benjamin, Kyle, Kris, and Liam.
Visitation will take place on Sun day, July 1 st , 2018 from 7-9 pm continuing on Mon day, July 2 nd , 2018 f rom 2-4 with a wake service beginning at 7 pm and visitation until 9 pm at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Upper Ferry, NL from where the Mass of Christian Bu rial will take place on Tues day, July 3 rd , 2018 at 11 am officiated by Father Lee Lainey with i nterment to follow at Mount St. Thomas Cemetery, Great Codroy, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Mary 's memory can be made to the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre Long Term Care or the Canadian Mental Health Association Newfoundland & Labrador .
