It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mark Alphonse Joseph Garreaux at Western Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at the age of 63 years. Mark was predeceased by his mom and dad, Mary Edna and Wallace Garreaux, his brother Michael Garreaux and by his long time friend from his Codroy family James Hilliard Sr. He leaves to mourn his sisters Marcy Neilson, Ann Garreaux and their families. He will also be sadly missed and fondly remembered by special caregivers who he resided with over the past 37 years Minnie Hiliard of Codroy, Vicki Donaldson and her family, James and Clarys and their families, the workers and residents of Oceanside Care Home in Codroy from where he resided. Mark was a gentle soul whose smile lit up the room and his presence will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Due to the current public health advisory of COVID-19, there will be no formal visitation at this time. There will be a service of remembrance and a celebration of Mark's life planned for a later date when everyone can come together to share in his life, followed by interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Codroy.
