It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Marie McNeil (nee Wall) announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on the 11 ^th day of September 2022, at the age of 73 years. Born in Cape Ray, NL, Marie was the daughter of the late Bernard Osmond and Winifred Wall. She was also predeceased by her husband; Gordon, mother and father-in-law; Molly (James) (Jim) McNeil; sisters; Ann Short, Mabel Wall, Rita Janes, Elizabeth Pearce, Winnifred (Ronald) Osmond, brothers; Wallace (Hilda) Wall, John Wall, Ivan Wall, brothers-in-law; Maxwell Pearce, Isaac Osmond, sisters-in-law; Marjorie Osmond, Holly McNeil and Linda McNeil.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son; Robert Rodgers of Port aux Basques, NL, daughters; Eileen (Robert) King of Cold Lake, AB, Corinna (Laura) Rodgers of Moncton, NB, Wanda (Jason) Lillington of Eastern Passage, NS, step-daughter; Amanda McNeil (Kyle) of Port aux Basques, NL, special grandchildren; Nic ho le, Devon, Jake, Bianca, Dawson, Shannon (Chad), Amelio (Patrica), great-grandchildren; Shaylene, Faith, Jaxon, Liam sisters; Mildred (Earl) Greene of Gaultois, NL, Melinda Osmond of Cape Ray, NL, brother; Robert Wall of Cape Ray, NL, sisters-in-law; Donna (Claude) Bragg, Dorothy Wall all of Port aux Basques, NL, Ester Gilliam of PEI, brothers-in-law; John McNeil (Rose Porter) of Port aux Basques, NL, Lewis (Kathleen) McNeil of Torbay, NL, Donald (Glenda) McNeil, Wayne (Paulette) McNeil all of Port aux Basques, NL, Alex Janes, Cecil Short both of Cape Ray, NL, long time friends; Kathleen and Herman Short of Yellowknife, NWT, plus many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dave Thomas as well as the nurses and staff at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre Long Term Care Unit. The family would also like to send a very special thank you to Marie's care takers; Sylvia Pearce, and Alice Patey and Yvonne Wall for the care and compassion given to our mom the last few years.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13th from 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques. In keeping with Marie's wishes, cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 14 ^th at 11 am from the St. John The Evangelist Church in Cape Ray, NL officiated by Rev.
