It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Irene Parsons announces her passing on Saturday July 11, 2015 at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center at the age of 87 years. Margaret was predeceased by her parents William and Mabel Herritt and husbands Albert Parsons and Ronald Parsons, sister Mary (Garland) Park, brothers Aubrey (Debbie) Herritt, Albert Herritt, Budd Herritt, son in laws; Walter Heron, Carter Chislett, Frank Myles, sons; Melvin Parsons, Roy Parsons. She leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories her loving family; daughters Mabel Skinner (Ralph), Melvina Heron, Annie Chislett all of Rose Blanche, Lynn (Shawn) Horwood Port aux Basques, Marlene Myles Halifax NS. Grandchildren; Ruby, Paula, Roger, Tammy, Walterine, Jamie, Mark, Karen, Jennifer, Markus, Kari Ann, Sherri, Ron, Terry, Susan, Heather, Sharon and 24 great grandchildren. Sisters and brothers; Mabel (Winston) Dominie, Willard (Theresa) Herritt, Henry (Jocelyn) Herritt, Arthena (Late Todd) Buckland, Harry (Sylvia) Wagg, Late Gerald (Marie) Wagg. Sister in law; Joan Herritt, daughter in laws; Shirley Parsons, Pearl Parsons and a large circle of extended family including brothers and sisters in laws, nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation took place on Sunday from 7-9 PM at East Haven Funeral Home, then continued on Monday at St. Michael's And All Angel's Anglican Church in Rose Blanche from where the funeral service took place on Tuesday July 14, 2 PM, officiated by Rev. Mary Rose Colbourne. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts road. Flowers graciously accepted or donations can be made to the charity of one's choice.
