It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maggie Miles announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Centre on February 1, 2015 at the age of 96 years. Maggie was the daughter of the late George & Charity Hatch. She was predeceased by her husband William Nelson Miles, brothers, sisters, son-in-law Reg Morris, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Eileen Morris Halifax NS, Ruby (Peter) Moriarity Stephenville NL, Carolann Crewe Port aux Basques, and Ralph (Margaret) Miles Port aux Basques, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, good friend Marie Thomas plus a large circle of nephews and nieces. Visitation took place on Tuesday, February 3 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, February 4 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm from East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral service took place on Thursday, February 5 at 2:00 pm from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Clayton Billard officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill.
