It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maggie Leamon announces her passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre on April 7, 2016 at the age of 75 years. Maggie was the daughter of the late Benjamin Samms and Elsie (Pearl) Samms. She was also predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Charles and Gladys Leamon, brothers Garland Lorenzo, sister-in-law Mildred Samms, and niece Roberta Squires. She will forever remain in the hearts of her husband of 57 years Charles (Cha) Port aux Basques NL, brothers Frank Port aux Basques NL, Lawrence (Louise) Fredericton NB, sister Audrey (Leonard Lomond) Kamloops BC, brothers Taylor (Kay Samms) Woodville NL, Edgar (Sandra) Richmond Hill Ont, Ralph Samms Bramption Ont, brothers-in-law Tom Leamon (Shirley) Port aux Basques NL, Gordon Leamon Port aux Basques NL, sisters-in-law Pauline Samms and Valerie Collier, a special niece Colleen Aucoin (Kirk) Woodville NL, and two special great nieces Roberta Pearce (Stephen) Upper Ferry NL, Desiree Aucoin (Brandon Pike) Edmonton AB, and a large circle of family and friends. Visitation taking place on Saturday April 9, 7-9 p.m. and Sunday April 10, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 11 at 11 a.m. from Wesley United Church, Port aux Basques, with Rev. Kathleen Anderson officiating.
