The day you were born was the happiest day of our lives. On September 6 ^th, 2016 we were blessed wit h a beautiful girl to love. We watched you play and blossom into the perfect 2 year old so full of life and love, we knew you would be someone special and our most precious treasure. On Friday November 23 ^rd , 2018 our lives were forev er changed when God decided he needed another beautiful angel. Why he choose you we will never know, although he had other plans for you we were not ready to let go. It is with great sadness that the family of Lyla Rose Morris-Simms announces h er sudden passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Fri d ay, November 2 3 ^rd , 2018 at the tender age of 2 years. Ly la was predeceased by h er grandfather Michael Billard, great grandfather William (Bill) Simms and great uncle Garry White.

Lyla will be forever loved and sadly missed by her M ommy and Daddy Morgan Simms and Tanner Morri s. Her grandparents Christa Simms, Dorothy and Calvin Morris will hold tight to man y precious memories of the ir cherished granddaughter. Also left holding Lyla in their hearts are her great grandparents Helen Simms, Maggie and Solomon Billard, Melinda White, Edgar White and Sylvia Morris. Special family member Paula Simms, special cousins and playmates Dakota (Koda) , Bentley, Michael, Charlotte and Kaylie-Mae. God parents; Kearst e n A ll en , Cameryn Simms, JC Anderson, Corey Chaisson and a large and loving circle of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and many fri ends.

Visitation will take place on T hur s day, November 2 9 ^th from 7-9 pm, and on Fri day, November 30 ^th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. T he funeral service will take place on Satur d ay, December 1 ^st at 11 a m from St. James Anglican Church, Channel -Port aux Basques, NL offici ated by The Rev. Edward Coleman. Cremation will follow and interment to take place on Wednesday July 24 at 4.30 pm At St James Cemetery Barchois Hill . Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Lyla's memory can be made to family.
