It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lorena Anderson (nee LeRiche) announces her passing on Saturday January 16 at the Health Sciences Center in St. John's at the age of 81 years. Born in Port aux Basques, Lorena was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle LeRiche. She was also predeceased by her father and mother in law John and Emmaline Anderson, her husband Charles in 2014, daughter Elaine White in 2015, brothers; John LeRiche, Don LeRiche, Wilson LeRiche, sisters; Dorothy Anderson, Elizabeth Green, sisters in law; Kathleen LeRiche, Isabelle LeRiche, Jessie Buttery. She leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories her children; John Anderson Port aux Basques, Dorothy Anderson (Lindsay) Isle aux Morts, James Anderson (Gladys) Nova Scotia, Debbie Anderson (Mickey) Isle aux Morts, Terry Anderson (Vanda), Charlene Kettle (Dwight) all of Port aux Basques. Son in law William White McDougall's, grandchildren; Darren Scott, Logan Anderson, Bradley White, Lucas MacArthur, Matthew MacArthur and their father John MacArthur, Kaitlyn Kettle, Ethan Anderson, and Natalie Kettle, 10 great grandchildren, brother; Jim LeRiche Port aux Basques, sister Rose (Owen) Pike Conception Bay South NL, sister in law Shirley LeRiche, brothers in law; Fred Buttery, John (Geraldine) Anderson all of Port aux Basques, Corwin (Nora) Anderson McDougall's and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many friends. Visitation taking place on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., Port aux Basques. Funeral services taking place on Wednesday January 20, 2 pm at St. James Anglican Church, Channel officiated by Rev. Clayton Billard and Rev. Steven Maki, interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Dialysis Unit at Legrow Health Center.
