It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Linda May Lilly announces her passing on Monday November 3rd, 2025 at the age of 68 years. Born in Channel Port aux Basques, NL, Linda was the daughter of the late John and Winnetta Lilly (nee Lillington). She was also predeceased by her brothers John and William.

She leaves to mourn her partner for 31 years John Kettle; her children, Janet Kendrick, Duncan (Jennifer) Kendrick, and Joshua Walters; her 7 grandchildren, Robyn (Jason), Kaitlyn, Jay, Thomas, Andy, Charlotte, and Alexander; sisters Evelyn Lilly and Margaret (Orrin) Scott; nieces and nephew, Darlene Kettle, Rosalyn Roy, and Rene Roy; close friend and cousin, Sharon McNeil; and life long friends Joan Rogers, Debbie Kettle, and Jeanette Billard; plus a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Linda Lilly was well known for her wonderful cooking and baking, always finding joy in making delicious treats for others to enjoy—especially Silas. She had a heart as warm as her kitchen, and nothing made her happier than seeing others smile over something she'd made with love. Linda cherished the simple things in life, like spending time outdoors and sitting around the fire, where laughter and stories filled the air.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends can visit on Monday, November 10th, 2025 from 1 to 3 PM at East Haven Funeral home with family prayer and internment to follow at St James Anglican Cemetery officiated by Rev. Jane Allen. Flowers are graciously accepted and donations in Linda's memory can be made to the family.
