It is with great sadness that the family of the late Linda Doreen Buckland announces her peaceful passing at her residence in Harbour Le Cou on Wednesday November 16, at the age of 69 years. Linda was predeceased by her father Thomas Buckland and her loving partner Roland Strong. After many years of living in Nova Scotia, Linda returned to her home in Harbour Le Cou where she resided with her mother. She leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories her mother Athena Buckland, brothers William Buckland and Todd (Erna) Buckland all of Harbour Le Cou. Nephews Paul (Lisa) Buckland Pasadena NL, Sheldon Buckland Harbour Le Cou, niece Megan Buckland St. John's NL, great nephew Aaron and a large circle extended family and many friends. Visitation taking place on Thursday evening and continuing on Friday at St. Michaels And All Angels Anglican Church in Rose Blanche from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday November 19, 2 pm officiated by Rev. Jeffrey Petten, with interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in memory of Linda can be made to the ALS Society.
