Jack was an avid fly fisherman who loved spending time at his cabin in Crabbes River. He worked for the Canadian National Railway for 40 years as a machinist and foreman and retired early to care for Alma when she became ill. He lived his life to the fullest and loved his nightly game of cards (growl). He will forever remain in our hearts as a kind and loving father. Thank you Dad for all you have done.

His famous words when we visited each night was "We should have a small drink now and game of cards. I'll have one if David haves one" Our hearts are with you Dad. Jack was a veteran of World War II serving from 1943 to 1945 and reservist from 1950 to 1955 and he was a life long member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 11. He will be forever missed.
