It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Leo Francis English announces his sudden passing at his residence in Doyles on Tuesday, June 30 ^th at the age of 81 years. Born in Doyles, NL, Leo was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Catherine English (nee Bennett); father and mother-in-law Hugh and Mildred Abbott; brothers Alan English, Johnny English, Billy English, Pat English; sisters Mary, Catherine, Theresa and son-in-law Rob Jones.

Leo leaves to mourn with fond memories h is loving wife of 5 0 years Jean , daughters ; Karen (Earl) Mouland of Elliston, NL, Beverly English of Moncton, NB, Andrea (Patrick) Sullivan of Manitouwadge, ON, Carla (Fred) Dicesare of Stephenville, NL, Lorna (Norman) Fiander of Codroy Valley, NL; grandchildren Mark Abbott, Kirk (Krista) Abbott, Danielle (Craig) Trask, Clarence Sullivan, Brandon (Emmanuelle) Sullivan, Kassandra Sullivan, Evan Dicesare, Alex Fiander, Nathan Fiander, Amber Fiander; great-grandchildren Izabella Trask, Noah Trask and Ophelia Sullivan.

Leo was the last surviving member of his siblings. He loved to fish and enjoyed the outdoors.

In keeping with Leo 's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no formal visitation or memorial service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date.
