It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late June Buckland (nee Harris) announce her peaceful passing in the early morning hours at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's, NL on Thursday, August 19 ^th , 2021 at the age of 6 3 years. Born in Burnt Islands, NL, June was predeceased by her father; Roy Harris in 2016, sister-in-law; Linda Buckland, and mother-in-law Athena Buckland .

June leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her loving son; Sheldon, his father; William Buckland and her long term partner; Calvin M a cInnis, fur baby Reese, a nd her for ever loving mother; Rosemary Harris (nee Munden). June also leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters; Clarence (Joan) Harris, Rodney (Geraldine) Harris, sisters; Valetta (John) Hardy, Glenda (Joe) Savoury, Addie (Ron) Eck, Michelle (Ernie) Bryan, and Crystal (Jamie) Parsons, brother-in-law Todd (Erna) Buckland. June leaves to mourn special friends; Marie Clarke, Donna Francis, Madeline Munden, god-daughte r ; Taralynn Rose plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 23 ^rd from 12.00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 24 ^th at 2:00 p.m. from St. George's Anglican Church in Burnt Islands officiated by The Rev. Canon Jeffrey Petten. Interment to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road, NL. Flowers are graciously accepted and donations in June's memory can be made to the family.
