Obituary

There can be no greater loss than the loss of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She is truly the glue that holds a family together, her strength, guidance, wisdom, kindness and love make us the people that we are. For this, we will have many precious memories that will help us get through the most difficult loss of our lives. On Thursday March 9, 2017 our lives would be forever changed as we the family of the late Judy Huelin (nee LaBreche) announce her sudden passing at her residence in Isle aux Morts at the age of 62 years. Judy was predeceased by her father Gerald LaBreche and their special bond was always a big part of who she was. Judy was also predeceased by her mother and father- in-law Marcella and John Huelin and sister- in-law Ida LeFrense. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of precious memories is her loving and devoted husband Garland of 44 years. A proud mother and grandmother, she will be forever loved and sadly missed by her children; Rose Marie (Kevin) Coleman, Barbara (Trent) Bryan all of Calgary AB, Melissa Huelin of St. John's NL and her two precious grandchildren Andrew and Amanda. Judy will also forever remain in the hearts of her mother Rosabelle LaBreche of Halifax NS, her brothers; Michael (Christine) LaBreche of Halifax NS, Tony (Jo-Ann) LaBreche of Bridgewater NS, Brian LaBreche of Halifax NS and Peter LaBreche of Toronto ON as well as her special niece and nephew, Jessica and Justin LaBreche. Judy will also live in the hearts of her in-laws; Dorman (Joyce) Huelin, Lucy (Austin) Billard all of Isle aux Morts, Martha Keeping of Port aux Basques, Christine Lillington of Isle aux Morts, Kathleen Huelin of Port aux Basques and a large circle of nieces, nephews and many special friends. Judy was employed at Dr. Charles L Legrow Health Center for the past number of years and she took much pride in and was very dedicated to her work. She was everyone's friend and she will be greatly missed by her colleagues. In her spare time, she loved to sew and quilting was her favourite past time. She was an avid animal lover and was also very involved in her community as she helped introduced the Girl Guide movement to Isle aux Morts many years ago, she was also very dedicated to the memory of her late father, a retired RCMP officer, and to our military. They held a special place in her heart and she always did her part to honour and remember them. Visitation will take place on Tuesday Evening March 14 and continue on Wednesday March 15 at Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts, from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday March 16, 2 pm officiated by Rev. Maryrose Colbourne and Father Lee Lainey, internment will follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road.
