It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we, the family of the late Joseph William Jeans announces h is sudden passing on Thursday, September 29 ^th , 2022 at the age of 78 years. Born in Cape Ray, NL, Joe was the son of the late James and Mary Jeans (nee Organ). He was also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law; Norman and Evangeline Marshall, brother; Lawrence, brother s -in-law; Stanley, Bob, Fred, sisters-in-law; Joan (Vernon) (Bryce), Leona and Lillian.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 57 years; Grace, his children; Mark (Pamela), Jo-Ann and the love of his life was his grandson; Owen. Joe also leaves behind his brothers; Gerald (Vera), Gordon (Cassie), Fred (Ellen), Jerome (Beverly), Everett, Todd (Diane), sisters; Rose (Edward), Susie (Gilbert) , Bernice (Melvin) and Alice (Hubert).

Joe will forever remain in the hearts of his sisters-in-law; Diane (Victor) , Ida, Norma (Peter), brothers-in-law; Ronald and Jack, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

In keeping with Joe's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Private v isitation will be held on Thursday , Octo ber 6 ^th from 2-4 pm.. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., 57 Grand Bay Road, Port aux Basques. Interment will take place at a later date. D onations in Joe's memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.
