It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Wallace Hill announces his passing at the Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre on April 11, 2015 at the age of 80 years. John was the son of the late Wallace and Dora (nee Keeping) Hill. He was also predeceased by his daughter Elizabeth, sisters Bertha, Elsie, Annie and Gertie, and his parents-in-law Philip & Jessie LeMoine. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Bethina of 57 years, son Larry (Marilyn) Hill Port aux Basques, daughters Jo-Ann (Dave) Kettle Port aux Basques and Mona (Ken) Bennett Halifax NS. Grandchildren Jonathon (Diane) Kettle Halifax NS, Steven (Crissie) Hill St. John's NL, Krystle (Kevin) White Port aux Basques, Darby (Matthew) Campbell Halifax NS, and Tina (Tyler) Bennett Halifax NS. Great Grandchildren Charlotte, Celeste, Jordyn, Addison, Taylor and Shelby, sister Betty (Lloyd) Horwood Lewisporte NL, nephew Gordon (Myrtle) Hill Toronto ON, brothers & sisters-in-law Joyce LeMoine St. John's NL, Sam Pink Port aux Basques, Hazel Ringer Labrador City NL, Ruby (Gerald) Billard Louisburg NS, Virginia (Cecil) MacLeod North Sidney NS, Kenneth (Mabel) LeMoine Port aux Basques and Wilfred (Francis) LeMoine Rose Blanche, plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Visitation took place on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm from East Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services took place on Tuesday, April 14 at 2 PM from St. Paul's Anglican Church with Rev. Steven Maki officiating. Interment followed at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Trans Canada Highway. Flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
