It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late John Henry Hilliard announces his passing at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL on Sunday, October 7 ^th , 2018 at the age of 77 years. Born in Codroy , NL, John was the son of the late James and Harriett Hilliard (nee Collier). He was also predeceased by h is wife Lillian Hilliard (nee Parsons); sisters Annie (John) Bennett, Bernice (Alex) Anderson, Olive (Montford) Ingram; brothers James Hilliard, Cliff Hillard, Walter Hilliard ; father-in-law John E Parsons; brother s -in-law George Anderson and Elias Kendall .

H e leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories h is loving children William (Judy) Hilliard of Fort McMurray, AB, Henry (Vanessa) Hilliard of Panama, Richard Hilliard of Fort McMurray, AB, Leona (Corey) of Codroy, NL; grandchildren Logan (Miranda), Brady, Lucas, Letisha (Damian), Robin, Lyndsay, Blake, Parker, Clyde; sister s Doris Anderson, Marcella Kendall ; mother-in-law Eileen Parsons; brother and sisters-in-law Genieve, Minnie, Cora (Ga r f), Laura, Lucy (Wayne), Leo, Roger (Lisa), Arch (Elsie); three special nephews James (Maxine), Rod ( Debbie ), Derek (Amy); niece Marg (Gerry) White , plus a large circle of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9 ^th , 2018 from 7-9 pm and continuing on Wednesday, October 10 ^th , 2018 and Thursday, October 11 ^th , 2018 from 7-9 pm at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Codroy, NL from where funeral service will be held on Fri day, October 12 ^th at 2 pm officiated by The Rev. Clayton Billard with interment to follow at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Codroy, NL. In lieu of f lowers, donations in John's memory can be made to the family .
