It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Edward Colbourne announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Tuesday, January 19 ^th , 2021 at the age of 75 years. Born in Twillingate, NL, John was the son of the late Augustus and Margaret Colbourne (nee Pond). He was also predeceased by his father and mother-in-law; Morgan and Levina Gallop (nee Bennett), sister; Marie, sister-in-law; Mildred (James), Ada (Angus), Marcella (Paul), and brother-in-law; Gordon.

John leaves to mourn with many fond and precious memories his loving wife of 55 years; Etta (nee Gallop), sons Larry (Marilyn), Shawn (Madonna), Tony (Doreen) all of Codroy, NL, Dwayne (Treena) of Halifax, NS, Brian (Karen) of Tompkins, NL, grandchildren; Jamie, Josh, Jonathon, Shawn Lee, Angie, Antonio, Cody, Nathan, Nicholas, Steward, Colby, Adrian, Adian, Tanner, Katie, Emma, Morgan, Brayden, Reed, Griffin, great-grandchildren; Taylor, Taylen, Greyson, Tye, Mia, Austen, Skylar, Corbin, Mya, Oliver, Cheyann, Jayce, Kaige, and Kaylen.

John also leaves behind his brother s ; Brian (Gail) of St. John's, NL, Reg (Maryrose) of St. David's, NL, sisters; Sandra (Wayne) of Lewisporte, NL, Marion (Limbert) of St. George's, NL, Audrey (Brian) of B erwick, NS, Marilyn (Karen) of Amherst, NS, sister-in-law; Slyvia of Codroy, NL, brothers-in-law; Kyrl (Geramine) of Halifax, NS, and Clifford (Sophie) of Codroy, NL plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 23 ^rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 30 ^th , 2021, at 2 pm from the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Codroy officiated by Rev. Faye Coffin and Rev. Jane Allen. In keeping with John's wishes, cremation will follow. Interment to take place at a later date.
