It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Joan Harvey (nee Meade) announces her unexpected passing at her residence in Isle aux Morts on Tuesday, July 21 st , 2020 at the age of 66 years. Born in Port aux Basques, Joan was the daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel Meade (nee Walters). She leaves to mourn with a lifetime of fond and loving memories her loving partner Clifford Coleman of Port aux Basques, daughters; Myrna Moodycliffe (Shane) of Victoria, BC, Verna LeFrense (Max) of Isle aux Morts, V e nessa (Steve) Lawrence of Halifax, NS, grandchildren; Jenna LeFrense (Mark), Brandon Lawrence, Matthew Moodycliffe, brothers; Gordon Meade of St. Catharines, ON, Lloyd Meade of Fox Roost, Ernest (Jane) Meade of Port aux Basques, Clarence (Marion) Meade of Halifax, NS, Don (Ida) Meade of Margaree, Terry (Maggie) Meade of Fox Roost, sister; Margaret (Hubert) Harvey of Margaree, brothers-in-law; Jim Harvey of St. Catharines, ON, Edward (Ned) Harvey of Port aux Basques, Albert (Evelyn) Harvey of Isle aux Morts, sisters-in-law; Linda Harvey of Port aux Basques and Beatrice Jubb of Prince of Prince George, BC and many friends.

Joan will forever be remembered for her loving heart and generous soul. Known for always keeping active, you could often find her on walks or mowing the lawn on Wednesdays; Always with a smile. Joan loved to laugh and wouldn't say no to a game of cards or a cup of coffee. She loved her daughters' cat Molly and dog Brownie like she loved everybody else; unconditionally. Though she was always hesitant of riding the ferry and you would never catch her on a plane; she loved to travel and visit both of her families. She loved her three daughters and three grand-children with her entire heart. She was so proud of each and every one of them. Nothing was more important to Joan than family, not even herself!
